Italy’s Honda rider Marco Simoncelli has died after an collision with Colin Edwards and nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi.The accident, in which the 24-year-old had his helmet knocked off, occured when he lowsided from his bike. His bike veered across the track and straight into the path of Edwards and Rossi. A tragic waste of a human life and just a week after Dan Wheldon died in the pile up at the Indy 500 race in Las Vegas.
